Hi,

We have customized Retail SDK solution. We are upgrading Retail SDK  from 10.0.319.20001 (Platform 10.0.8)  to 10.0.507.10034 (Platform 10.0.12). For this new version, we installed Visual Studio 2017 on development box.

Earlier we used to build the upgraded solution using 'VS2015  x86 native tools command prompt'.

Now that we have VS2017 and we do not have this native command prompt with it.

How do we build the solution? any idea? Does it just need to be buillt using the normal 'Developer Command prompt VS 2017'?

I have the same question (0)

Yes, you can use "Developer command prompt for Visual Studio 2017" or  "MSBuild 15.0 command prompt" to build your retail sdk solution.

You can go though below documentation for details -

    docs.microsoft.com/.../migrate-sdk

    Hope this answer your question.

    Thanks,

    Ram
