Dear All,

as far as I know, by using security development tools I'm able to set authorization for each roles.

in this case, I create new roles and start recording.

( I don't use right  click feature 'set enty point permission for current node and submenu tree' because its will affected others roles that related to that entry point name, its update to multiple roles )

my question is,

how to disable fields or hide some fields, for example, at purchase order line, I want to disable unit price, so user cant change the unit price,  and hide configuration field.

how to do that from security development tools.

appreaciate for each information given.

Thank you

    Hi Benjamin,

The security development tool itself is not designed to be able to set table/field permissions. You can do this from the AOT on roles or privileges directly.

Also you can open the Security roles form and click 'Override permissions' to set table/field access.

You can select your role from system administration, setup ,security, security role, select your role and click override permission button then select your table and set permission field as you need
