    Also read through the printable manuals that come with GP.

    Resign yourself to more than one attempt at the exam!! Getting that 80% pass mark can be a elusive. We have found that the best preperation is to just do an exam - it gives you a good feel for the type and depth of questions you can expect and helps channel your study. There are study manuals available from Microsoft which are very good.

    I used the study guide that is available in Microsoft Partner Source web area (free if you have access). I then bought a practice exam off the web for $70ish. I went through the study guide from front to back and did all the hands on labs with the study guide and practiced the exam and wound up missing 1 question when I took the cert. I do have a background in SQL2005, which makes it easier for me. It seems that 30-50% of the test was SQL based.

    Visit www.examworx.com, there you will find all microsoft certification practice question just like real. The question are just the ones you will meet in the exams but re-arranged..

    It has been my experience that all of the exam questions are answered in the training manuals. In my opinion this is the only 'study guide' you will need. Pay particular attention to the callouts

    Of course, if you can get a copy of the exam all the better.

    There is far more SQL on the exam than many people anticipate. I think that is why there is such a high 'retake' rate on this particular exam.
