Replace Sharepoint Server in CRM

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

We had a Sharepoint 2013 on-premises connected to our CRM and we have recently purchased a new version. Since we already have enabled our Prod environment with the old server, I would like to know if it's possible to remove the current settings and re-enable the server side authentication using the new Sharepoint server.

The main reason why I am asking this is because I no longer can find the option to run the wizard.

RE: Replace Sharepoint Server in CRM

    Hey Lucas,

It's not that simple as re-configuring the integration, as you need to think of all the existing Document Locations pointing to the SharePoint 2013 server as well as the existing documents - do you want those to still be accessible in the current location?

You can play around with SharePoint Site and Document Location records to change the default location for new Folders to be created, but migrating the existing folders and documents will need to be done separately.

    Good luck!
