I'm checking to see if I'm thinking about this right. The R2 release is just a service pack, correct? So it should be rolled into the GP2013 year-end update and I don't need to install it separately?
We are on currently on GP2013 (12.00.1538 SP2)

There will be a YE update for Dynamics GP 2013, we haven't been given an exact date yet from Development that the YE update for Dynamics GP 2013 will be released. However, it is looking like it might be near the end of November.

Does this mean that there will be YE 2014 release for Dynamics GP 2013 as well ?
Hello!
The upcoming year end update will be an all-inclusive update just as years past. If you currently do not have Dynamics GP 2013 R2 update installed when you update with the upcoming year end you will get it then.

Your build number is YE 2013 not SP2, as shown below:

The R2 was released after the YE 2013. By the end of this year, a new version of Dynamics GP; GP 2015 will be introduced.
