Hello,

Just wondering, if I import a solution, but do no click Publish at the end of the import process, do the changes get put in behind the scenes, but not visible until I publish them?

    For Unmanaged Solution:

    If your solution has Plugins and workflows then CRM will consider latest import version even you do not publish it.

    If your solution has entities and fields then you have to Publish it otherwise CRM won't show latest solution import.

    For Managed Solution;

    all customization get auto publish, hence there is no need to publish solution.

    Hello,

    If you are importing and Unmanaged solution, you must click on publish customization so your customizations are available to users; while it is not the case for Managed solutions that are automatically published.
