AX 2012 R3 CU10 published through 2016 RDS Server screen refresh issue

Hello Community,

We are testing out RDS to publish AX 2012 R3 CU10. We are running RDS on Windows server 2016. The issue we are experiencing is, as the user navigates from one module to another. or simply scrolling up and down on a screen, the text on the screen starts going over other text on the form. Has anyone else seen this, or knows how to resolve it?

    Hi,

    only some idea.

    Have you tried to disable the takeover from the rdp client scaling settings into the rdp scaling session (feature starting with rdp8.1) And use a fixed assigned 100%?

    I don't know if this is still the same on an windows server 2016.

    Hello ievgen Miroshnikov,

    The verified answer in your second link did resolve the issue! I believe when I first applied this, My RDS session was in a disconnected state and the settings didn't take effect.

    So make sure you are fully logged off RDS, adjust your display scaling settings to 100% and the problem is gone.

    That being said, if you are trying to use AX off of your laptop display only, Good Luck. Its supper small with this setting.
