Hi All,

AX 2012 R3.

Does anyone tried to customize inventory value report (Inventory management> Reports> Status> Inventory value> Inventory value)? I am trying to add a new field to the report, but I am unable to identify the main method.

Hi Hasan,

You need to add new field to InventValueReportTmpLine or to InventValueReportTmpLedgerLine table, depending on what you are trying to achieve.

Then you need to modify classes derived from InventValueReportBase, like InventValueReportPopulateItem, InventValueReportPopulateLedger, InventValueReportPopulateResource and so on, again depending on what you are trying to achieve.

I will advise you to create your own report and not go on to that rabbit hole.
