Removing Assignments of Inventory Items

Hi:

When a site has been assigned to multiple inventory items and it is discovered later that this site should not have been assigned to those items, is there a simple way of removing the site assignment "in mass" rather than one item at a time?

Thank you!

John

    I can't recall the exact version that this became available but on GP2018, there's a 'Site Item Assignments' window that serves this exact purpose (and the opposite).

    Under Item Card>>Go-To>>Item Quantities Maintenance (Quantities/Sites)>>Go-To>>Site Item Assignments

    If your version of GP doesn't have this, this information just sits in the SQL table - IV00102 & you could run a delete (with a backup first of course) that looks something like...

    delete iv00102 where concat(itemnmbr,locncode) = {item}{site}
