Hi All,
I am looking for the duty/privilege that can be enabled for end users to run Update Balance in Financial Dimension set screen.
Currently, I assigned end users all following duties and privilege but they still can't do update balance. Still got the message said that they do not have required permission to do.

Can you please let me know which Privilege / duty for end user to run this Update Balance function?

Is user is trying to update balance for "Current" legal entity or "All"? Does he have access to all relevant companies?
Can you check if there are any changes in existing privilege?
One more thing, why does user have to update it manually? As per best practice, I would suggest running a batch job on recurrence basis from service user.

Thank you for replying me.
In my case, each end user belong to 1 legal, so they do update for "current" legal entity only.
Since at the end of month, when there is some reports that are not up to date yet, they want to do some update balance to check the data by themselves, without asking for IT support.
Do you think they can run "update balance" if they have access to all legal entities? Since the Financial Dimension set is sharing table?
Hi Hang,
This is a tricky one to find out as the actual menu item is called from an event handler class. The menu item is an action menu item: DimensionFocusUpdateBalance.
Permissions for this menu item is included in the privilege Initialize balances Menu item action (DimensionFocusProcess) and duty Maintain chart of accounts master (LedgerChartOfAccountsMaintain).
