Hi All,

I am preparing a test enviroment with Win Server 2003, SQL Server 2005 SP2, GP9.0 with SP2 and WSS 2.0.

I installed the BP 3.0 and i am able to access the site localhost/.../businessportal.

When i tried to click the site settings link, it asked for username and password and it repeatedly asked for 3 times and the page got displayed.

The web part "Registered Users" is giving the error - You are not authorized to view this page You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Can anyone help me out of this.

Hi,

I installed BP with the checkbox clicked "Use Enhanced Security for Administration Pages", thats the issue, it is asking for Digest Authentication. i reinstalled BP with the checkbox unticked and it solved my issue.

I've seen this with IIS where you need to enable 'anonymous access' authentication in the properties tab.

What authentication method are you using?
