Prevously we were able to user the option for finacail reporting but now we got his issue and meantioning that is is not activated in enviroment .

Hi Hashimi,

I haven't seen an environment in recent times that was not linked with a Power Platform environment. When I deployed my sandbox, I directly linked it to a new environment.

You can choose to have the LCS service to create an environment based on a template, or you can link an existing environment, e.g. if you are using already other Dynamics 365 apps. I don't know if Dynamics 365 Standard is the only template available or not.

Note that there might be some additional fields available to choose a base currency and a language. Ensure you will choose the correct values for your organization. You can't change it afterwards.

After you linked a Power Platform environment, you can install the Financial Reporter via this LCS environment.

there is only two tamplate avaible - also i process i showed above is a correct way to solve this issue

OK. You can choose between two templates. The second option will not only install Dual Write, but will also enable the sync options. If you are not using Dual Write today, you can choose the Standard and enable Dual Write in future when you have a requirement for it.

In this video, the environment linking was already completed and it is installing BPA, not the Financial Reporter. I'm not sure if we are on the same page or not. Do you need to link your LCS environment to a Power Platform environment and do you need to have the Financial Reporter or do you want to install BPA?

OK. In that case, the BPA video is not helping you with the process. First you will need to set up the Power Platform integration as per your screenshot above. In case you don't have an existing instance, you can use one of the two provided templates.

After that integration is completed, from the LCS environment page, you can install add-ons. One of these add-ons is the Financial reporter.

Thanks for the reply, I tried to follow but asking the Environment administrator - with other user with admin right we can do integrate the power platform , also last time you meantioned that we need to select the correct value like currency and language - do we need it in this time as well or not

do you need to setup the microsoft dataverse as well?
