Hi,

I have a process that creates a word document from a template when a new row is added to a specific dataverse table (SetWordTemplate action is used).

Currently this word document has an issue that it shows dates, currencies etc. in foreign format and I would like to change them so that for instance dates shows as dd/MM/yyyy instead of MM/dd/yyyy. How can this be achieved? Also can I somehow translate choice data to different languages in the template?

Hi,

I have tried to insert the date field as a Date Picker and change the format in the Word Template.

It will not take effect in the downloaded word unfortunately.

One thing you need to notify is that both in the word template or Dynamics, there is no date format like "dd/MM/yyyy" can be chosen.

Maybe you could ask for help from some third party add-in.

Yeah looks like the organization formatting settings also do not affect the template formatting at all unfortunately (we currently have default date format set as something else that how dates appear on templates).

Maybe creating the template in a cloud flow instead could give more options on how to format things? But still hoping that there would be a simpler fix to be found.
