Where did PSUS demo company disappear?

Hello team,

It's been a while I wanted to ask you this question, what ever happened to PSUS company in d365 FO? It had specific and very detailed setup for public sector budgeting which is always a pain to build up from scratch.

I know we have some setup in USMF for budgeting, but not all configuration keys are turned on for Public sector in USMF which is normal because it is not the initial purpose of this company. For an example, if we need to use the complete functionality of pre-encumbrance and posting definitions, it is not there. or for budget planning it is a very basic example that is setup. Anyways, when we turn on the full PS configuration keys it impacts the simple way of doing the purchasing, which maybe in regular USMF we may want to keep.

So basically, does anybody know the reason why Microsoft has deprecated PSUS in D365 FO?? Thus we are not able to test and manage public sector demos properly anymore.

Hi Veronika,

If you deploy a new environment on Azure using LCS, you can choose which database will be part of the deployment. Choose 'AX Public Sector DemoData' for the public sector settings. As the partitions were depreciated in MSDyn365FO, it is now another database.
