When sending an email message to multiple segments or lists, the D365 Marketing app is sending the same email to a single contact multiple times. This happens when the contact is on multiple lists or segments. We never had this issue before switching to D365 Marketing. The other platform we were on would only send the same email once, regardless how many time the contact appeared on lists in the same email distribution job.
Is there a fix for this behaviour?

I guess that you are using several swimlanes in a customer journey, right?
If yes, you can set the audience of each swimlane something like the following.
It ensures that the swimlane does not handle contacts that have already been involved in other swimlanes.
