Hello All:

 I am running GP 9.0 and need to generate a report that lists cash receipts and the invoices they were applied to.  I can't seem to find this anywhere.

 Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Steve,

    As far as canned reports, that information can appear on the Historical aged transaction and also customer statements. What did you want the report to look like?

    If you can create a SQL view the information could easily be dropped into a SmartList or Excel report. When you say 'Cash', do you mean real money or any payment - like credit cards.

    Hi Steven,

    You can reprint the Cash Posting Journal which details what documents each cash receipt was applied to:

    Go to: Reports >> Sales >> Posting Journals >> Cash Reeipts Posting Journals

    Best to restrict this by date or batch, as it prints a seperate report for each cash receipts batch.

    The report may need to be modified as it includes a lot of extra information about theposted cash receipts other than the documents they were applied to.

    Does GP10 capture the userID of the person who applied the cash receipt?  I think the answer is no but thought I would confirm.

    You would need to be using audit trails module to capture this.
