/api/data/v8.0/new_entitys?$select=new_name&$filter=createdon ge 2017-03-15

Works no problem..

If I create a custom field that is date only and try this:

Saved.png

/api/data/v8.0/new_entitys?$select=new_name&$filter=new_fromdate ge 2017-03-15

{

  "error":{
    "code":"","message":"Condition for attribute 'new_entity.so_fromdate': date-time values are expected to be passed as strings or DateTime.","innererror":{

  }
}

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? Is this bug fixed in API v8.1 ? API v8.2? The only work around I can think of right now is just make a normal DateTime field.. but then it's going to show the time in the GUI when selecting it. (maybe use JavaScript to hide this).

Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you,
Travis

    I updated from 8.0.0.1088 to 8.1.1.1005. Seemed to make the problem go away.
