You could use Fault offset to identify the place where the error occur, but it may be both difficult and not very helpful for you.

A better approach is to generate a memory dump - that contains the full call stack of all threads, values of variables and so on. And before jumping to WinDbg by yourself, you can use LCS Crash and hand analysis to do basic analysis for you.

    RE: Trouble shooting AOS stop

I am trying to collect memory dump using Debug diagnostic ,when I run the my WF batch with the rule in place it is showing executing and does not crash the AOS , if I don't use the debug diagnostic rule it crashes , my issue is with workflow message processing batch, the cause for the crash

my log in the debug is growing in GBs as the Dump count ae increasing , I don't know what to analysis as the AOS crash does not seem to occur

    please help

    RE: Trouble shooting AOS stop

If you know what batch causes it, then debug it. That will tell you which instruction is causing the problem.

I thought you have no idea about the cause of the crash, because you forget to tell is in your original post. If you have any additional information you forget to share, please do it. For example, it seems that it's about some particular rule and you might be able to tell us more.

    RE: Trouble shooting AOS stop

By rule I meant the settings in debug diagnostic , like capture process crash, of AXsrv 32.

    it is not in AX.

the issue is when ever I try to start my workflow batch it crashes the AOS , I did not mention earlier because I myself found it out later.

crash happens when I run Tutorial_workflow also  , none of the workflows are working.

please give details of how to debug workflow message processing batch any other possible causes of this .

    thanks

    RE: Trouble shooting AOS stop

What exactly do you want me to explain regarding debugging? Is the problem that you don't know how to debug any AX code, or do you have any particular problem with Tutorial_WorkflowProcessor form?
