Hi all
Has anyone heard anything about supporting the scanning of 2D code in POS, instead of barcodes?

This is more a of hardware capability. EAN13 whether you are printing as QR code or barcode, the barcode reader(if it supports 2D barcodes) will read the data and pass the data as keyboard wedge. If you are looking using GS1 2D barcodes, capture additional data like batch from it and records on transaction, it requires a customization.
Thanks Shafeeque. The 2D-codes contains additional data, but I only want to capture the barcode.
If you want to scan something like below and capture only capture only the 01 element, it will require a customization. The feature is available in preview in WMS, not available in retail yet.
