POS touch screen keyboard

I've created a keyboard called Front Desk. I've enabled it on the front desk register. I do the Ctrl+F6 to turn it on and change the window sizes to make it visible. There are two issues; 1 - the keyboard that appears seems to have all functions and is not the one I created (or so I think) even though I have specified which in the POS Manager Registers List 2 - if I close POS and open it again, the keyboard has been disabled again as if the changes were not saved. I was logged into it as myself so I should have full priveleges. Could this be a security issue? Is there another setting somewhere? The keyboard I designed has 5-6 function buttons to bring up the skus for each dept such as Admissions, Membership, etc.

I've had the same problem and checked all of the configuration options as well to see if it was something in there but no luck. Let me know if you find anything please.

Within the touchscreen area, click on the 'Menu' button, the second button down on the left (under Alpha), this will display the five default keyboards: Functions, Departments, Categories, Suppliers and Custom.  Your 'Front Desk' will be displayed once you click on the Custom button.  The POS will always start with this touchscreen unless you press the Menu button again and select a different Touchscreen.  The Touchscreen you are seeing displayed currently is the standard 'Functions' touchscreen.

The issue turned out to be that the login account I used did not have administrator priveleges.  Once I logged in as admin, I could make the changes and they would stick.
