Update Qualify Lead Status in footer with custom Status reason

Hello All ,

I have implemented a custom requirement by Qualify a lead without creating Opportunity using workflow which get triggered using a custom Ribbon Button and its working fine as expected . After Qualify a lead using custom button I have to set a custom footer status (XYZ) but its populating only Qualified . I have tried to add new Status reason in the Lead Status and set in my workflow properties but still its bringing default Qualify status after lead qualification without creating Opportunity . Please share your comments .

Thanks for your response .

I have followed your suggestion but not sure about to update the Picklist translation as its already showing my custom Status reason (Qualify No Opportunity) after exporting the translation . I have added a new Status reason in Lead Status OOB Field and now its Populating new Status reason nested to Qualify Ribbon Button . Please find the screenshot and share comments .

I have Created a Custom field (Create opportunity -two option) and triggering wf based on field value from Custom Ribbon Button (Qualify No Opportunity) to Qualify Lead without Creating opportunity and looking to populate the custom Status reason after Qualify lead without Opportunity .

Hi

You will have to update the translation to change the Qualified to a custom value.

You could use the XrmToolBox Easy Translator plugin to change this.

Please see below

Once you modified the Excel File, you can import back and once this is completed, you should see the custom status value for Qualified and other statuses.
