Ledger Dimensions

Hi

I have done migration from ax 2012 to D365 FO . In testing we have found  issue  in one of our custom form.

Basically when we generate invoice from the sales order we get different ledger Dimension value in GENERALJOURNALACCOUNTENTRY Table from the one that we get in the ax 2012.

After invoicing the sales Order I have found that it has created a new line of main account in DimensionAttributeCombinationValue Table and is inserting that Rec ID in GeneralJournalAccountEntry Table rather than the previous one that is migrated from ax 2012.

Ledger Dimension values in D365:

Ledger Dimension Value in ax 2012 (Which is required one )

I have also checked the main account against both of the above ledger Dimension Values and both are returning the Same Main Account.

That ledger dimension value is used in filtering of records in our custom form.

So my query is that it is a bug in our program or we have to set some functional attributes or we have to change Ledger  Dimension Filter Value in our Custom form of D365 FO ?

I have the same question (0)
