Uploading outstanding checks for conversion

Hi, We are implementing GP 10 at a client and are wondering what would be the best method to upload all outstanding checks to bank rec? My quess it would be IM, could someone please email me at jims@em-powered.com and give me some tips. Any help would be great!! Thanks!!!
