RSAT (Regressive Suit Automation Testing)

Hi All,
Will RSAT be discontinued ?
There is still a LOT people out there saying it will be discontinued however very little information confirming from MS.
 
Does anyone know :
  • If yes, When?
  • what tools are Microsoft planning to release for the automated testing?
Can you tell me :
  • What do you use for your Service Update Testing? including UAT 
  • What about costs, does the testing product you use have storage costs or other additional licences costs? 
  • Is there MS approved testing other than RSAT? 
 
We are new to D365 - ERP - Finance & Operations and used DevOPs for our initial integration.
 
I would like to understand what everyone uses for the Microsoft Service Updates and how well the products you use works for the purpose.
  • Cost & ease of use is also a factor for consideration.
 
Thank you in advance, out first round of Testing is due to commence in a couple of weeks so I would appreciate any feedback

    Hi, there is no such information published to the public MS documentation of RSAT or Removed/Deprecated features that indicates that RSAT tool will be disabled in Dynamics 365. We have below public announcement from MS Product Group on RSAT which confirms my feedback that we so far have no plan to disable/remove RSAT.

    • Is there MS approved testing other than RSAT? 
    ---- One such tool is the MSTest runner, which is a lightweight and portable alternative to VSTest for running tests in various contexts:
