Is it possible to create sales invoice document templates in Dynamics 365 Business Central that automatically populate certain fields, similar to how it works for items, customers, and vendors? If so, how can I set this up?
For example, having a template for national sales invoices and another for international sales invoices ...

There are no specific invoice templates such as vendor, customer and item.

    Hello,

You can use "Recurring Sales Lines" function though you will need to create the template for each customers.

Otherwise, you can always use "Copy Document" to copy the invoice of similar template.

In Dynamics 365 Business Central, it is not possible to create direct "sales invoice document templates" similar to templates for items, customers, or vendors. However, you can achieve similar functionality by using the Copy Document feature or Recurring Sales Lines to populate fields automatically.

    Copy Document:
    • If a customer frequently requires similar quotes, order or invoices, you can use the Copy Document functionality in Business Central. First, create and archive the repetitive document (e.g., a quote or order) as a template.
    • When needed, create a new document and use Actions > Functions > Copy Document to copy the archived document.

This saves time, ensures consistency, and reduces manual data entry for recurring transactions.
    Recurring Sales Lines:
    • Create Recurring Sales Lines template with require item details.
    • Assign template in customer card.

    • create sales order, quotes or invoice using this template.
    • The Recurring Sales lines automatically display in the sales lines.
