Phone Call Activity from Social Pane

Hi,

Looking for some details around Phone Call activity. Phone Call created from Social Pane is marked Complete? If I create a phone call from Activity section then its status is open and we can edit any time but if the Phone call is created from Social Pane immediately its marked as Complete ? Any reason why and is there a way to make it open and let the user mark it as close though the phone call is created from social pane?

    Found your reply and wish this was fixable. Can anyone detail a custom workflow they've created as a workaround?

    I created a workflow on the phone call activities that when you create one with a future Due date, then it changes the status back to Open.

    It is just one of those things that the design team chose to do because a common complaint is that users don't remember to mark activities as complete.

    There isn't any way of changing this behaviour at the moment.
