Hello Everyone

Do you know how I can add the vendor dimension when posting an expense note in GL?

The employee is defined as a vendor and on this vendor is the financial dimension /Vendor/ filled.

Hi Community member,

Can you tell us the exact form you are using to post expenses in the general ledger? Are you using Expense management or a general journal? Maybe you can share a screenshot?

Hi,

Are you talking about posting expense report Debit side with same vendor financial dimensions?

If yes then on employee master as well you default same vendor for that legal entity employment in Human resource. Then while creating expense report you will have that populated on expense report header which ideally should get posted in expense lines as well if expense line Main account has accounting structure with vendor financila dimensions
