Which CRM is best for ME?

(0) ShareShare

I am an independent Manufactures Rep.; Salesman. Using Office 365 on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Windows 10. I have used ACT! for many years but not for several years and I am looking of a CRM. I need it to fully function without an Internet connection when traveling but would like to back up the data when in range of an internet connection. ONE USER...ME. FYI I am in the Chicago area and travel IL, IN and WI.

MS CRM does have offline capabilities. Which CRM is best for you....I cant comment on that because it involves a lot of things for e.g. licensing cost

But the features you are looking for are available in MS CRM Out of the box.

I can say that MS CRM is a market leader when it comes to CRM Applications.

Following are few URLs, which might help you:

    MS CRM offline on outlook

    www.microsoft.com/.../work-offline-with-dynamics-365-for-outlook.aspx

    MS CRM offline on Mobile

    www.microsoft.com/.../work-offline-in-dynamics-365-for-phones-and-tablets.aspx

    Going offline

    www.microsoft.com/.../example-of-going-offline-with-dynamics-365-for-outlook.aspx

    Hope it helps !

The only way to work CRM offline is to use the Outlook Client, or the mobile app that has an offline modus.

    App: www.microsoft.com/.../work-offline-in-dynamics-365-for-phones-and-tablets.aspx

    Outlook client: www.microsoft.com/.../work-offline-with-dynamics-365-for-outlook.aspx

If you are looking for a local installed version of CRM on your Surface Pro 4, then Dyanmics CRM is not for you. I don't think it's supported to install an onpremises version on Windows 10 and I would most definitely not recommend doing so.

    Hi WoJack,

In addition to Prashant and Martijn's suggestions, I would like to add comment regarding pricing.

Unlike earlier versions, the new Dynamics 365 (Online) Enterprise Plan 1 doesn't have a minimum user requirement.

Since you are already using Office 365, you can try out Dynamics 365 for 30 days using below link.
