Can deputies be set up for time sheet approver users? If yes, how, or is there a workaround?

Yes, we would like to set up a second approver as a backup in the absence of the first one. Is that possible?
Not sure what the exact reason for the note on this page is, but the recommendation is to have only one per company:
If everything has been approved the time sheet admin can be changed. Maybe this is a good suggestion for a feature improvement via https://aka.ms/bcideas .
