Organizational hierarchies - assign purpose "Procurement Internal control"

Hello,

a few weeks ago I was asking if its possible to use the organizational hierarchy for a purchase requisition Workflow. (+) Can we use a Purchase requisition Workflow for a Organizational Hierarchy? - Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Forum Community Forum

I thought that it is not possible to use it without a customization. But now I have discovered that it is possible to assign a purpose to a organizational hierarchy

For example, if I assign to my organizational hierarchy the purpose Procurement Internal control could I then not use this hierarchy fur the purchase requisition workflow? What do they mean with "internal control?"

Hi,

This means you can define your Purchasing policy rules at organization hierarchy level as well.
