Zeros Whole Inventory

Dear Experts:

Hope you all are well.

I have an issue that I calculated all the stock in my system (NAV 2017, retail items)

After that i made it all zeros and posted, after posting i checked the chart of account but the inventory account it did not get to be zero.

For your information we are a retail company, and we are using average cost method, we also set up the field of automatic cost adjustment to be never, cuz we are doing this adjustment manually by the report of cost adjustment item entries.


Could any help me out with this issue?

Also i tried to a calculation after posting, nothing appeared on phys. inventory page, means all are zero, but it is not in inventory GL account!

    It's possible that there may be some transactions that have not been taken into account in your inventory calculation, such as transactions that were posted in a different period or year than the one you're currently looking at.

    Verify that you have calculated the inventory correctly. Double-check your calculations and make sure you have taken all transactions into account, including any transfers or adjustments.

    Check for any unposted transactions that may be affecting the inventory balance. Look for any transactions that may have been entered but not yet posted, and make sure to post them if necessary.

    Run the inventory to G/L reconciliation report to identify any discrepancies between the inventory and the GL accounts. This report can help you identify any transactions that may have been posted incorrectly or are missing.

    If you are still unable to identify the issue, consider reaching out to your NAV support team for further assistance. They may be able to help you identify and resolve the issue more quickly.
