Hi all,

having problem running .csv file in DIEF. Getting the following message "The field 'JournalNum' is not present in source". Not a programmer and am struggling to get what I would consider a fairly simple task of uploading a General Journal to work. Have also tried the AX Dynamics Add-in for Excel with no luck also. All the You Tube videos make it look so seamless !

Any help/ideas would be appreciated

Would you be so kind and verify the answer to get this thread completed?

About the copy&paste experience:

MS is working on that but not for AX2012 or earlier versions. If you upgrade to D365FO you can copy&paste records in a number of grids. Not into GL journals yet but I expect that this will become available in the very near future.

Much appreciated Ludwig. This solution did work thank you. I still find this process to get a General Journal into AX unnecessarily convoluted. Use to ERP systems that allow you to copy and paste

Hello Paul,

The message indicates that you have not provided the journal number into which you want to import your lines.

Can you please double check your templates used for uploading the journal and the lines?
