Hi All,

Is it possible to display the product name from "EcoResProductTranslation" table on Procurement and sourcing->common->purchase requisitions->release approved purchase requisition. If yes, can you tell me the ways to achieve it.

I need to do this to make the product name filterable when pressing Ctrl+G.

Thanks.

Use the EcoResProductTranslations view, which can be joined to InventTable or EcoResProduct, whichever is available for your form. That way the product name becomes filterable.

    Hi Vilmos,

I'm trying to modify the query "PurchReqCreatePurch", how should i add the tables inventsum, inventtable, ecoresproduct and ecoresproducttranslation. If i try adding the inventsum or inventtable im getting error as below

Cannot select a record in "ViewName".

The SQL database has issued an error.

Can you please tell me how to modify the query.

    Thanks.

How about adding InventTable as a datasource for PurchReqLine with 1:1 InnerJoin, Relations = True, Dynamic fields = No. Then adding EcoResProductTranslations for InventTable with 1:1 InnerJoin, Relations = False, manual relation between InventTable.Product and EcoResProductTranslations.Product, Dynamics fields = No and adding ProductName in the field list? The query can compile without any errors, however I have no means of testing this.

    Hi Vilmos,

I have added the query after making the modification to the view and when trying to add the field name to the view's field i'm unable to select the field name.

I guess it is due to the dynamics property of the ecoresproducttranslation set to no. Is there any other way to add the name field.

I do not understand what you are saying regarding changing a view, I have not recommended to do any changes on it. What I said is you could join that view on your formdatasource, query, code, whatsoever to use the data in there.

For testing purpose I've created a view and added the query "Purchreqcreatepurch" and added the inventtable as ds to purchreqline. Can't I get result using my approach?

I'll stop testing with my view and do the modification to the query as you suggested. i.e adding inventtable and ecoresproducttranslation view and ill give a try
