Hi all,
I want to set up a Sales Order for Item "A" from Location "X" with Qty 10.
In my SKU for Item "A" and Location "X", I currently have 100 in inventory.
I want to reserve or deduct the 10 pieces on Sales Order from my SKU inventory as soon as I create the Sales Order for Item "A".
Before Creating Sales Order, Inventory at SKU - 100
Sales Order Created, Qty - 10
After Creating Sales Order, Inventory at SKU - 90
The reason I am looking for this kind of a solution is that my sales orders created 2 months ago are not closed due to accounting reasons and even though items are taken away from my inventory, it still shows under "Qty on Sales Orders". Now when I run my MRP/Planning Worksheet, I do not get an accurate level of inventory.
