Dynamics 365 plugin installation problem.

Hi,

I am trying to install a plugin on the online version of Dynamics 365. Unfortunately it fails every time (I've tried other plugins and it says the same). I've even tried to import the solution directly, unfortunately that fails as well. I would like to know how to fix this and what the cause of it would be.

Thanks,

Andrei

Please check if your online Dynamics 365 version is 9.0. In case of which you will need the new plugin registration tool.

Kindly follow the below steps to download the same:

    1. Browse to the following link to get the command to download the tool from the Nuget

            https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PluginRegistrationTool

    2. Copy the code

    3. Now open a project in your visual studio and open the C# Package Manager Console, where you will have to paste and run the copied command

    4. To open the C# Package Manager Console navigate to Tools > Library Package Manager > C# Package Manager Console as shown in the screenshot below

    5. This will open the console as below

    6. Here you will have to paste the command and then hit Enter which will download and store the tool in the package folder in your drive where the respective project has been stored.

    Thanks!
