Custom entity on Marketing Form lookup in managed environment not working

Hi,

In our dev environment, I've configured a lookup to a custom entity on contact.  I've added this into the Marketing Form as a lookup field and it all works great when we add the form to our CMS or on a landing page, we get a nice list.

When I deploy that entity across in a managed solution to our sandbox environment, it will not work.  I've also tried a different custom entity, to check my sanity and that didn't work.  In our sandbox, we do have the product table as a lookup in the form and that is working, so I know it can work in that environment.

Things that are setup in sandbox

1. Added read permission to Marketing services user.

2. Added in custom entity to relevance search.

3.  Checked managed properties to make sure entity can be synched to external search.

4. Checked we have data in the entity,

When setting up the form field, there's no issues raised.  When I add the field into a form and try it on our CMS or a landing page, it does nothing when I type into it.

Completely baffled, especially as it works perfectly in our unmanaged dev environment.

Anyone come across this?  Thinking it's something to do with relevance search but not sure what.

    Hi,

It seems like your setup is correct, but it's difficult to tell without looking at the environment. You can file a support ticket to ensure that all details are provided and the support team can help you quickly.

    Best regards,

We had the exact same issue a while back between different environments. We created a ticket for this and we found that after turning the 'relevance search' on and off in the environments admin settings , the problem was fixed. Perhaps this works for you too.
