I'm not a BC consultant, but an Infrastructure consultant working for at customer that have implemented Business Central On-premise. Version 17.0.16974.
They have moved the installation from one hoster to new servers in Azure.
They want to use Microsoft Entra Application Proxy to protect the installation (Entra ID Auth into BC is not possible since the customer integrate with 3-party using SOAP and Windows Auth).
The setup in Azure is joined to a Entra Domain Services instance.
Direct access to the web client works well, but all attempts to setup Entra Application Proxy fails. Entra auth works on the app proxy page, and then a login prompt to the domain comes and credentials is then typed and auth to the domain works, but then Business Centrals show the loading circle in the middle of page and never gets further - it is like it is stuck.
I have read older articles about app proxy not supporting WebSocket, but Microsoft documentation states that WebSocket is supported now.
I hope to find someone that have setup BC on-premise with Entra Application Proxy and can point me in a direction.
