hiding field in process bar with business rules

Hi.

I`m configuring a process bar and would like to show/hide fields based on the values in a drop down list using business rules. The problem I have is that when I set the field to "hide" it is still in the process bar but not visible so it takes up space (see img below).

Does anyone know how to fix this so the fields are alligned?

Thanks

I am using Dynamics 2015 on premise.

    Hi Martin

    There is no way unless using DOM unsupported way to fix this..

    You make sure you are using supported sdk to hide it right?

    Thanks! I have made this using standard functionality (business rules).

    I also tried to to configure this scenario in an online demo and it did not seem to be a problem there. Do you know if this is a feature that is implementet in Dynamics 2015 Update 1?

    At first I thought I would recommend you using this script but the result also still same there will be a gap

    Hope this helps you.

    it seems that is a good scenario for new functionality on the next version, so far there is no options on the XRM.Page.getControl, to rearrange the field when you hide a field

    We can simply use below line of code to show/hide the field from the BPF.

    Xrm.Page.getControl(“header_process_parentcontactid”).setVisible(false);

    You can use below line of code to show/hide the field from the Header.

    Xrm.Page.getControl(“header_leadsourcecode”).setVisible(false);

    hope that help

    Thanks. I`m using standard business rules to show/hide the field. Are there any benefits to use this code instead of business rules?
