DMFLedgerJournalEntity - Financial dimension 0 does not exist.

Dear all,

         Am facing a issue while importing journals through DMF.

The issue is when try to copy the data to the target its throwing an error of Financial dimension 0 does not exist.

i tried to debug. here, what i found is total i have 17 Dimensions where 7 in Accounting structure and remaining 10 is in the Advance Rule of the same accounting structure. the system is reading first 7 dimensions but the remaining dimensions in advance rule is not reading.. that's why it is throwing Financial dimension 0 does not exist.

Please anybody help me how to resolve this issue.

    Which CU version do you have?

    There is a hotix issued by MS targeting the issue, KB 4025132.

    Had the same issue on CU10 as well and the above-mentioned hotfix solved the issue.

    Hi,

     I found this hot-fix but it is for CU13 version. but anyways i installed in CU10 version but couldn't resolve the issue.

       can you provide any other tips.

    Hi Ameen,

    Even if you get this issue fixed, I believe that you or our users might run into other issues if you use 17 financial dimensions.

    Why do you need that many findims?

    Actually its a Airline data. For each ticket there are 17 dimensions that need to be store.. Forget mention this using X++ code we can able insert this 17 dimension into the journal.
