Error acquiring new Fixed Asset in test company

Hello,

Currently running through the process of setting up and acquiring a new fixed asset in D365 BE. On the last step of the acquisition wizard I am getting an error saying:

The G/L Account does not exist. Identification fields and values: No.=''

It does not include the account number that is missing. I do have a fully set up G/L including FA accounts. Any thoughts what the problem here might be?

Thanks in advance for your help!

RE: Error acquiring new Fixed Asset in test company

    Hello Mark,

I went through the same process and was able to recreate the same error.  I think the problem is the Posting Group selected on the Fixed Asset Card is missing Accounts.

    To verify:

    1. Note the Posting Group selected on the Fixed Asset Card.

    2. Using the search type in FA Posting Groups and click to open the FA Posting Group.

    3. Verify that Accounts have been entered for the Posting Group.

Once accounts have been entered for the Posting Group you should be able to go through the Acquisition Wizard.

    Regards,
