GP 10 & Exchange 2007 on the same Cluster Servers

Hi Guys,

I need your valuable opinion. Is it advisable to have both GP 10 & Exchange server 2007 both on the same cluster environment? Or they need to be on two different cluster environment? Since we need both to have a fail over scenario without users loosing connectivity to either one of them.

Thanks.

In general, running 2 large database servers on the same hardware is sub-optimal.  While SQL server has excellent memory configuration tools, Exchange offers less control over memory allocation.  I would definitely opt to put these on separate platforms.
