Marketing E-Mail - Option Set Field

Hi Community,

We use Dynamics 365 for Marketing and we have experienced following issue:

We have created a new Marketing E-Mail with one place holder (the source is an Option Set field). Wenn I send this E-Mail, then the place holder is replaced with the ID of the item from the Option Set and not with the Value as expected, e.g.:

Instead of "Dear Mr. Abc" I see "Dear 1 Abc"

In the Option set I have:

ID: 1

Value: Mr.

Is it a bug or do I configure the place holder in a incorerct way?

    Hello Maris,

    in the current version we have a gap with displaying option set strings in email messages properly. But we are working actually at the moment on an enhancement for exactly this situation which we will ship in an update hopefully not so far in the future.

    Until then you may consider a custom field containing the string representation for the option field.
