Alarm for Min stock

Hi All 


I have ax 2012 R3

We use item coverage from released product to select our minimum stock however we can generate the report from inventory module then critical on-hand inventory 

but I want to make it as alarm (dialog) so is it possible ? 

or if not is it possible to send the report directly from system by email ?

    You can setup alerts( it is available out of the box) but it will be by dimensions, like warehouse, location and all. Or you can get a batch job developed to send report to your email everyday.

    Hi Ajit

    yeah I think is the best way is by batch job then send email

    I know how to run batch job and how to make the system send email

    but I don't know how to setup email in Ax

    can you help me about it ?

    To set alert- Right click on batch form and select create alerts, you will see multiple options, like column name( you can select status) and operation ( like update, create - here you can select update) and then select an email option and also define the user or AD group.

    You can send reports by email.

    You might also look at  an add on like Liaison Messenger EDD, see:   www.liaisonsc.com

    On-hand is not stored in a table, but is calculated dynamically, so you can't put an alert on it.

    Master scheduling action messages/planned order releases  effectively do the same  job.

    You would have to get that developed, It would be a new batch class to generate that report and send via email.
