Microsoft Logo and Branding for Marketing Purposes

Hi there,

I am looking for clarification around using the Microsoft logo and Business Central icon for marketing purposes.

I have read through all trademark and license guidelines as well as support articles but don't believe I am getting the specific answer to my scenario and would really appreciate some guidance!

We have built an integration between our product and Dynamics 365 Business Central and would like to promote the integration on our website.

On this integration page, I would like to use the Microsoft Logo and Business Central icon to illustrate the integration that has been built. So far I have been advised that there is no license agreement to use the Microsoft logo. However a quick Google search shows many, many pages from companies that have done so.

Can anybody advise on where/who I could contact to get further advice on this?

We currently have an action pack and have access to the Microsoft Partner logo. I have had multiple conversations with MPN support however it's not the Microsoft Partner logo I am looking to use.

Thanks in advance,

Fiona

    Hi Zhu,

    Thanks for your response.

I have previously accessed this page and have downloaded these icons however I have noted that the support article and terms state that these icons can be used for architectural diagrams, training materials, or documentation... i.e. not for marketing purposes.

Can you advise on whether the icons and the Microsoft logo are able to be used for marketing purposes when promoting an integration?

    Best wishes

    Fiona

This is a simple example: https://yzhums.com/14448/

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.
