Dynamics 365 on premise stub users

Hi,

Does anyone know how to create a stub user in Dynamics 365? I have tried importing them with no 'domainname' field but I get an error saying that they need a valid domainname. Is there another setting that needs to be added when importing users that should be created as stub accounts?
