Upgrade from SQL Server 2005 Express to SQL Server 2008 R2 Express

Hi Everyone,

 

I would like to Upgrade from SQL Server 2005 Express to SQL Server 2008 R2 Express.

 

We are using MS Dynamics 2010 with SP3

 

What are the steps and precautions that I need to take?

    Dynamics normally comes with a license for SQL server...why are you using express?

    SQL Server Standard is avaiable as a runtime version for GP through your reseller. If you purchase it this way you get it at a greatly reduced price. With Express versions of SQL there is no SSRS or automated backups.
