Calculate stock on Variant level

Hey guys

I am trying to calculate (using Power BI) stock on items with variants. And when i check the ItemLedgerEntries table the Variant Code is not there. So there is not way of knowing what variant it refers to. How can i accomplish this?

I read that it should be possible to use the ItemLedgerEntries and ItemVariant table together, but i dont see how that can be done. There are no relations to what Variant was used in the Ledger table.

Any ideas?

    Hey

    Im not sure it helps me. The question is different from what im asking. Its related to cost per item. I need to calculate stock. There is no column with the variant code in the itemledgerentries.

    It's probably linked to how you are accessing the data.

    Looking at the table definition for the Item Leger Entry Table shows that Variant Code is field 5402 (not changed since at least since Navision 4).
