Hi,

I am trying to find out a solution for my below issues,

I am trying to create a workflow so that my existing record turn to Type 'Previous' and my New record created remains 'current' using workflow... is this possible?

So to give you an example Our Client requirement is they need a separate custom Address entity and this should be associated to Organisation and contact and I've also added another Address tab in Organisation/Contact form with grid view to see all address records- which I have created

NOW there requirement is IF they add a new address using New Address button on top of the grid for Organisation or Contact then old Address should change to Type 'Previous' and New address they added remains Current

Note: I have created a field called Address Type with options set of 'Current', 'previous' and 'Finance'

Can i do this using Workflow or does this required plugin

Please support

Many thanks

Girish

    Hi,

There's no OOB functionality can meet this requirement. You can create a workflow. Trigger workflow on the new address creation and then Update the old previous address to 'Previous' type.

    Thanks,

    Hello Girish ,

This is not possible with OOB features of workflow. Suggest you to develop custom workflow activity or plugin for that.

Or you can use MS flow as well.
