Solution error (missing permision)

Hi Guys,

I am trying to import my latest solution changes however i am seing a error complaining about a missing permision.

From https://make.powerapps.com/ (solutions) i am seeing the below error for all of my custom solutions:

Something went wrong. Please try again later.

Principal user (Id=0e212fac-f157-4169-a2d2-e1350c9e946b, type=8, roleCount=31, privilegeCount=564, accessMode=1(Setup/Stub user with filtered privileges from associated roles. Consider changing user AccessMode to Full (without privilege filtering))), is missing prvReadmsdyn_solutioncomponentsummary privilege (Id=b07bd841-cd77-4795-b9fb-685c9e812f5c) on OTC=10059 for entity 'msdyn_solutioncomponentsummary' (LocalizedName='Solution Component Summary'). context.Caller=0e212fac-f157-4169-a2d2-e1350c9e946b

I laset deloyed changes back in September with no issues / error being shown.

If i try and update (import) the new solution directly in the Dynamics org i see the below error:

My user is the owner of the solutions (these are custom made by me) i am a System Administrator in the Dynamics Org and i have the below roles:

Environment Maker,
System Administrator,
Basic User,
Application Role,
Activity feeds,
Customer service representitive,
CRS Manager,
Delegate,
Export Customizations,
Forecast Manager,
Forecast user,
Help page Author,
Help pace Consumer,
Knowladge Manager,
Marketing Manager,
Marketing Presonal,
Playback Manager,
Playbook User,
Project Owner,
Relationship Insights Admin,
Sales Manager,
Salesperson,
Schedule Manager,
Scheduler,
Solution Checker,
Survay Services Admin(depricated),
Vice president of marketing,
Vice president of sales,

Any ideas on what my issue could be? i have verified that the Solution Component Summary permision is against the user on a few of the roles but i am still seeing the issue...

    Hi Ryan.

    You only really need the "System Administrator" security role which have the highest privileges on the Dynamics entities, so with all other roles you are basically adding the same.
    However what Dynamics license is assigned to this user?

    Hi Ryan,

    Seems issue with the Model Driven App you are trying to import. Check is there any Model Driven App which isn't shared with System Administrator. As you mentioned last time you were able to deploy so identify which is newly created Model Driven App and verify the security roles.

    Hi Ryan,

    I had the same error message only in a different use case. In my case solution components were not loaded when opening a solution. It sad "data couln't be loaded. Please try again later". Although I was the systemadministrator.

    Solution:

    My User was missing Dynamics 365 License.

    That solved the problem for me.

    Maybe that can still help you or anybody else running into a similar problem.
