Hi,
You can change de recovey model and set to Simple (In simple recovery model SQL Server maintains only a minimal amount of information in the transaction log).
If you are in Full Recovery, you need Shrink DB (you can do this in Simple Recovery) to get a small log size.
Set up a maintenance plan to do the above. It can just shrink the database on a schedule, or a backup that includes the transaction log will do the same.
You can set your recovery model to simple, which will decrease the size. Have a look at this post for an explanation of the recovery models: msdn.microsoft.com/.../ms189275.aspx
If you have Log shipping set up or if you have T-log backup jobs that run frequently then changing the Recovery Model is not an option here. I would suggest you to schedule full backup of the database more frequently so that it will keep truncate the logs, otherwise you may go for the recovery model changes as suggested by others
Thanks,
